Progetto HEART di Cosimo Alfano – video racconto “Aspettami (Heart)”

Il Progetto “Heart” nasce da un’idea di Cosimo Alfano tra il 2010 e il 2012 con lo scopo di aiutare i malati cardiopatici, a seguito di una tentata ablazione cardiaca non riuscita, e in un secondo momento dopo un intervento alla gola durato oltre 10 ore a seguito del quale Cosimo ha passato tutta la notte in rianimazione. Al Suo risveglio a Torino c’era un cielo nero e pioveva molto. La voglia di vivere era ancora tanta. Era cambiata la Sua visione del mondo. Un evento che aveva messo a rischio la Sua vita ma lo aveva trasformato guardando al futuro positivamente.

Cosimo ha così pensato di scrivere un testo che potesse raccontare la Sua esperienza, riadattato dall’autrice Margherita Alberino.

Durante il lockdown ha deciso di creare un video molto amatoriale per presentare il progetto ad un’associazione che si occupasse di prevenzione cardiovascolare e che potesse aiutarmi a divulgare la mia storia.

Appena ha potuto lasciare la Sua abitazione Cosimo ha ripreso la realizzazione del videoclip chiamando ballerini, affittando una sala, portando luci, effetti scenici, studiando una coreografia, una scenografia e ricercando una base musicale da adattare tramite un amico musicista toscano “Il Geometra Mangoni”, una voce che narrasse il testo contattando Manuel Giancale speaker radiofonico di una nota radio torinese.

Grazie a Alexandre Duarte un artista del Cirko Vertigo  Alexandre è stata realizzata la traduzione del testo in inglese per diffonderla negli altri paesi.

Project HEART by Cosimo Alfano – video story “Wait for me (Heart)”

The “Heart” project was born from an idea of Cosimo Alfano between 2010 and 2012 with the aim of helping heart patients, following an attempted failed heart ablation, and later after a throat operation lasting more than 10 hours following which Cosimo spent all night in resuscitation. When he woke up in Turin there was a black sky and it rained a lot. There was still a lot of desire to live. His worldview had changed. An event that had put his life at risk but had transformed him by looking to the future positively.

Cosimo decided to write a text that could tell his experience, adapted by the author Margherita Alberino.

During the lockdown he decided to create a very amateur video to present the project to an association that deals with cardiovascular prevention and that could help me to spread my story.

As soon as he was able to leave his home, Cosimo resumed the making of the video clip calling dancers, renting a room, bringing lights, scenic effects, studying a choreography, a scenography and looking for a musical base to be adapted through a Tuscan musician friend “Il Geometra Mangoni” , a voice that narrated the text by contacting Manuel Giancale radio speaker of a well-known Turin radio.

Thanks to Alexandre Duarte, an artist from Cirko Vertigo Alexandre, the translation of the text into English was carried out to spread it in other countries.
